Hello and welcome to my website my name is Julie Jenkins

I am the Owner and Senior Therapist of  Sporting Palms based in Douglas on the Isle of Man.

I first Qualified as a Sports Injury Specialist and through this section of the business I have covered pitch side first aid and sports injury for many sports clubs, I have worked with Leyton Orient Football Club and West Ham Ladies Football Club, I have also cover pitch side for Essex FA women’s matches. I have also completed the FA Diploma in Sports Injury Treatments.

 Having successfully run my business in Essex for over 10 years I have now re-located to the Isle of Man and am now looking forward to the challenge of starting again. I will be working out of the club house at St Georges AFC based on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas.
 

Taking part in active sports and leisure activities is the best way to stay fit and healthy and helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle balance.

However every so often parts of your body get tired and this can result in a sudden injury like a pulled or strained muscle, these injuries can prevent you training, playing your chosen sport or worse still could keep you off work.

Every body is different and and at Sporting Palms we treat the injury in the best way for the individual and help you to help your body recover and to help prevent the injury becoming a reoccurring problem.
